I don't think I have ever said he did poorly during that time. He did okay, but was partially out of the market during most of that time. Therefore, the point is that he could have done better if not for that blunder.

I believe the reason he ranks his model portfolios back to 1988 is because he almost had to unless he wanted to lose all credibility. You see, that was when he supposed "changed" his timing model because the old one missed the big October 1987 crash.

He was losing subscribers right and left so had to bail himself out somehow. Now this new timing model has missed an official bear and he's bailing himself out by pretending he has been saying all along that oil prices were "directly connected" to stock prices.

What a KWB-Joke he is...no offense Mr. Brinker. LOL!
