Besides, Democrats don't want to go too far down the equal-time road, not with three network anchors accompanying Obama on his trip abroad. The anchors don't go anywhere with McCain. When even Eleanor Clift notices, you know it has to be egregrious. Really, this whole New Yorker cover affair reminds me of the old, old slapstick routine where two bad guys decide to beat up our hero, who ducks so nimbly that bad guy #1 winds up decking bad guy #2 by mistake. The New Yorker would never have published any of this if eeeviiill Republicans weren't the intended targets. The usual self-censorship would have prevailed. Too funny.

the cartoons themselves are racist I don't see that myself. What exactly is racist about the picture? Are black people off limits to satire?
