Relax, dude -- you just need to chill out and have some fun At the family gathering thing I went to yesterday one of my nephews brought out a potato cannon that he'd made -- we had a lot of fun firing potatoes at the other nephews who were paddling around in boats out in the pond (there used to be a gravel quarry in one corner of the property which is now full of water = instant small private lake). Try making one of these sometime, it's not that hard -- en.wikipedia.org They might look like much, but the one we were using had an 8-foot long barrel and we were shooting potatoes for distances well over 400 feet. My nephew's contraption was a combustion launcher made out of PVC plumbing pipe with a BBQ starter for an igniter. Just force the potato down the barrel into position, open the rear chamber and spray in some Right Guard for a fuel source, close the chamber, aim, and press the igniter button -- KABOOM Boys will be boys I guess
