Pearly plus one, I don't know if this will help, but the way you are treating the back radiation or reverse radiation is functionally the same as adding a resistance to the flow of the energy. Adding a resistance in a circuit does not heat the source, it only stops the source from losing heat as fast. But for a solid the amount of energy radiated is ∝ 4 power of the temperature.
