You can just see how he is a "people's person". HIs poise, his gentle pat on the shoulder, his manner of asking questions where he does not talk down but instead throws open the decision making to the people he is with are all signs of what he picked up during the days of his community work. This is not the phony whisky guzzling popularity. These were not the phony coached troops for sure who were put in front of the camera.
