The 'people' are not the right, they are not even the 'moderates' but the left. They might have been the moderates or even the conservatives before we went so far to the right that the left is barely a speck in the distance.

We will not do well as a country if you do not heave far to the left and fix what ails us. I do not care one whit for Obama as a person or all the rah-rah that goes around him, I only care about his policies and what he can actually do. As I see it, he squeaked by because activist Dems have a problem with the DLC wing of the Democratic party which rolls over and plays dead to Republicans.

I've seen this with the Clintons before and what started off as so promising ended with a whimper and then a move to the extreme right. I know he needs to move to the 'center' to win the general but I certainly hope it is just to win.
