It looks to me that YOU are the person who should be eating crow. The war in Iraq looks won after you and yours proclaimed it lost. We are now on the bring of establishing a friendly nation in the midst of the ME. This is a quote from someone in the area -- "Right now, there are still a significant number of people -- far less than half -- who clearly don't appreciate us. But the kids all love us. Ten years from now, Iraq will be a different place, once those who have anti-US biases have passed the torch to a younger generation which can already understand the benefits but doesn't have the hatred." As you were told back then, it is a long hard slog but the payoff will be substantial and long-term in nature.
