CONSERVATION is just as important as getting off polluting fossil fuels. The two together, using much less and going much more green, will eventually solve our problems. There is no other solution. SO this is actually mandatory. Just a matter of now or later. I say NOW because we should have done it 30 years, and if Carter had had his way we would have already succeeded. As T Booone Pickens says "we can't drill out way out" of this crisis, and as much as I despise Pickens for funding the smearvets, he is right about that, 100% right. We could drill every wildlife sanctuary in the US and it wouldn't make a bit of diffference. The only solution is to GET OFF OIL altogether as an auto and power plant fuel, and coal too. BTW, ther is no such thing as "clean coal", that's just more lying Bushie PR.
