I agreed with Patrick when he said that using someone's actual voice saying what they said, seems to be pretty effective...and I agreed, but with the proviso that they use the actual sentence in the way it was intended....

When we listen to Michelle's "first time in my adult life, I've been proud of this country" sentence, it seems to resonate with many people....including me. She, who has been quite fortunate to get grants and other sources of finance her VERY expensive education, should know better than say something like that.

Those of us who make enough money to pay high taxes, but the government/colleges don't take into consideration the number of total children in the family, nor what the individual situation is financially, can't get scholarships as a general rule. We can't plead low income, and can't plead we are a minority....
