We live in the inland valley of California and have always burned wood during our mild winters but things are a changing. Contractors are no longer permitted to build fireplaces in new homes. The state is declaring no burn days for people who still have the capacity. In California we prefer to pile up all the fruit wood and burn it in the orchards while saving our forests for the summer wild fires. It's only a matter of time until they nail us and we will be forced to turn on our gas heater.

This will make our Govenator very happy as he hates wood and coal.
