in our neighborhood we just let the sun burn it out and rain turn it back to green. no one waters their grass.

My problem is a sprinkler system put in on the cheap by a previous owner. I've fiddled with the heads endlessly, but they just don't cover well. We got these neat little sprinklers for a hose at Lowe's. They are brass colored circles on a pedestal that rotate in opposite directions and have a brass butterfly in the middle. We liked the first one so well we got another for ourselves and one for each of our kids. Our neighbors saw them and looked all over town, finally finding two for themselves. So now when we water the lawn we are also decorating it.
