Yes, it is the traditional move to the extremes for the nomination and the traditional move to the center for the general. The hope is that Obama would not govern in that way and so waste another Presidency moving this country ever farther to the right and into the hole.

Lieberman appears to be playing out his second childhood and thumbing his nose at the Dems. He whines that he wasn't asked to campaign for any of the Dems but he was asked by McCain who needs him to play nanny during press conferences.

Lieberman has been publicly snubbed by the Dems and now he is just getting his licks in. As a person, he is looking more and more like Bush/McBush. He is vindictive.

McCain already seems tired. He needs Bush's money-raising but he doesn't want to be seen as McBush. He must have really bad headaches all the time. Maybe he will lose his cool and erupt during a debate.

That may change. Lieberman's popularity in CT has dropped to an all time low. If the vote were today, he would not have been re elected. I think we are seeing Mr. Lieberman's final days.
