His birth name was probably Barry Soetoro, not Barack Hussein Obama. Why the Obama camp is so panicked about letting everyone know he changed his name is perplexing.


But his mother didn't even meet Mr. Soetoro until after Barack was born, so this doesn't make any sense. I have a much simpler guess - his folks weren't married when was born. Maybe they got married later, but as Obama Sr. committed bigamy, it wasn't a legal marriage in Hawaii anyway.
