The above is a quote from Wikipedia. Of course people still refer to Czechoslovakia, its fairly common, not a gaffe. People still refer to Yugoslavia to reference those countries that used to be part of it as well. I remember a couples months ago a prominent journalist said Canadian border when he meant Mexican border. So what?
