Opposition cites candidate's inexperience, moral positions

Even before Illinois Sen. Barack Obama became heir apparent to the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, there were those who opposed him on grounds ranging from inexperience to objections to his moral positions.

But whether voters worry about his long-term relationship with a pastor who proclaimed, "God d--- America," his wife's statement about finally being proud of the U.S., the candidate's longtime opposition to any regulations on abortions or any of a multitude of other reasons, the NObama 08 Magnetic Bumper Sticker" that has been the No. 1 pick among best-sellers at Shop.WND.com now for a full month has the subject covered.

You've probably followed the news already: The former Communist Party leader in Palestine has endorsed Obama in the 2008 presidential race in the United States, saying, "if he is elected, an agreement about the foundation of a Palestinian state [would be] reached." And a blog posting on Obama's official campaign website recently urged Americans to work to release an imprisoned terrorist fundraiser. And don't forget that a group of Hindus is presenting Obama's campaign with an idol of a Hindu monkey-god because they heard the candidate carries a smaller version of the idol.

The bumper sticker is more than a political slogan, providing an encompassing statement for the 2008 presidential race that makes it clear a particular voter dislikes the rants by Obama's ex-pastor , the denigration of America by the candidate's spouse, and the statements from the candidate himself that support late-term abortion, promote an unspecified "change" and express a willingness to abandon America's mission in the Middle East.

In the report about the comments from PA Planning Minister Samir Abdullah, he said he would like to see Obama elected because he immediately would "study the Palestinian cause and will try to push it forward."

Earlier, on the MyObama community blog pages, user Ulf Erlingsson lamented what he called the "harsh" conditions of terrorist fundraiser Sami Al-Arian, and compared him to Malcom X.

The Hindus say they have given Obama's campaign a two-foot Hindu monkey-god idol after hearing Obama carries a miniature for good luck.

"The idol is being presented to Obama as he is reported to be a Lord Hanuman devotee and carries with him a locket of the monkey god along with other good luck charms," reported the Times of India.

Also for a full month in second place is the magnetic bumper sticker declaring, "Drill For American Oil NOW!"

The goal? To take America clear of the dangers of relying on mostly unfriendly foreign powers for the nation's energy. The campaign succinctly demands a drilling program now of American oil reserves.

The bumper sticker's message has renewed impact in light of WorldNetDaily Editor Joseph Farah's editorial campaign to persuade Congress to do something about drilling for American oil.

"I want to bring Congress to its knees," he says in a report about his efforts. "I want to melt down their phones. I want to flood their e-mail boxes. I want to hold them as political hostages. The ransom demand is to unleash the free market to begin exploring and pumping domestic crude oil and getting it to market as fast as possible. We've got 75 days to make our voices heard. Let's make history by bringing this recalcitrant body of elitists into compliance with the will of the people and the rule of law."

Many Americans have been wondering for some time why there isn't more drilling and production of oil from vast known reserves in Alaska, underneath adjacent seawaters and in the Dakotas and Montana.

In third place is "The Money Masters," a DVD that "throws back the veil of deceit hiding the origins and operations of the corrupt banking plutocracy that owns and rules America."

Thomas Jefferson once warned, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks ... will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. ... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

This 2-DVD set covers the history of monetary reform from Roman Times to the present .

"The best video yet on the history of the Federal Reserve and the mysterious disappearance of America's gold reserves," said Robert Caroll, of Human World Community Inc.
