I'd be thrilled if teacher's unions were big enviro supporters, but I've seen zero data to support that. As far as I've seen from the disclosure reports I get, teachers unions support...teachers unions, and the needs of their rank and file- in that order.

I WISH they supported the environment, but until someone puts up some good evidence for that it's just more unsubstantiated rumor. Too bad.

And of course who supports the conservation groups has zero to do with how much they get, which is very little compared with the contributions of big business.

Interesting- according to this business outspends labor 11 to one. I didn't know that. I guess it's obvious if you look at what is happening to labor in this country, but I didn't know the disparity was that large.
