This is not what the military command says. Or for that matter, what the Iraq VP said last night. Those who are aware of what is going on there (which excludes you) have made it clear that our withdrawal needs to be executed in such a way that it does not leave a power vacuum as before.


The president of the US will decide when American troops come home. Not the Iraqis nor the American military.


Yes, but a competent president would act only on the advise of his military commanders on the ground. Apparently, Obama would disregard the advice of military people.
