Its quite remarkable how he is willing to ignore important facts like the one you are citing. I think democracy to these guys is something you can move around to fit your mood.

Nobody is ignoring the fact that presidents set policy (presidential candidates, of course, DO NOT -- which is why Obama is being accused of meddling -- a chorus that very well could build over the next few news cycles).

Presidents in the last several decades, however, have generally acted with the advice of military experts -- something obama has chosen to ignore.

Again, if Obama is elected, it will be his prerogative to ignore the advice of military experts - but if he does, he will do so at his own political peril.

The man is dangerous.
