What worked against John Kerry will not work against Obama. I don't think the GOP yet sees Obama the same way as the electorate - a once in a generation politician who really does stand above the rest. Kerry was more of a blank canvas who allowed the GOP attack dogs to paint his portrait. If the GOP doesn't know that the same dirty tactics won't work on Obama, then November will be a bloodbath for the right... The only one who can stop Barack Obama is Barack Obama. The GOP must hope for a Clinton-sized Monica scandal, else they're hosed. IMO
