But doctors are in the trenches facing rampant non-compliance with even the most gentle restrictions and figure that a small order of fries is better than a large one.

My last LDL was 68, almost at the 60 level I want. I have no symptoms, and feel great. If I hadn't had a calcium scoring, I would never have been aware that I had arterial plaque. So I am attacking my heart disease with supplements rather than a drastic diet.

Am I whistling in the dark? Probably. But I will try it this way and see what the results are of my next Heart Scan. My big push now is to get an EBT scanner here in the Islands. The last one shut down the first of the year. My big push will be at Kaiser, my HMO. I know going in that the Hospital hot-shot Doctors there are very anti-EBT. I don't know why.
