"McCain has failed miserably to in his efforts to get any message out concerning Obama's lack of experience. "

That has gotten all the exposure that will do it any good. And Obama's trip is going a long way towards countering it.

"If Obama continues to run from a head-to-head debate with McCain, or if if Obama decides to have the debate and, as in prior debates, is unable to articulate a consistent view of key policy items"

Wishful thinking on your part. Obama doesn't appear to be inclined to give McCain free media exposure. There just isn't much upside for him to do much more than the already scheduled debates. Which already are more than we normally get.

Whatever else you may say about Obama, he is articulate. So your hopes that he may suddenly lose that is wishful thinking.

"but there is nothing to suggest that the undecideds will break for Obama."

Again, based on past elections that has been what happened. Of course, every election is different. But there is no sign that this one will be that different.

At least so far.
