TR had some liberal characteristics but he was not an extremist and would never have supported an extremist agenda.

Do you think TR would have gone for nationalized health care? He was about rugged individualism if ever anyone was.

Now, he didn't like the Trusts taking advantage of people. But that was question of basic fairness, not of liberalism.

I think you don't know much about TR.
