Why couldn't Aurelian management wait for the introduction of the new Mining Law to negotiate a takeover? I'm amazed the market is not bidding up the price of ARU. It doesn't think majors will step in with their own bids? This is crazy. One intriguing aspect of the deal is the $70m financing. What is the reason for it at this point in time?

RE,
I agree that at this price ARU is being given away at super cheap prices (especially at 900+ POG) and is theft from ARU shareholders! I was not very clear and what I meant is that this is hopefully the start of PM majors bidding for jr resources, which will hopefully up their market prices.
As I said to Ogi, I would not be surprised if another major goes after ARU or K if this deal closes.

I did see your post from yesterday about ARU being a steal.
Dead on! Congrats!
As veteran88 pointed out, it stinks to see ARU up yesterday which was an UGLY day in jr land to say the least! Obviously some privileged few ARU shareholders in the know. Pathetic I say!
