Recent theories are that a dyke, concentric to the Sudbury basin goes thru that area. I am a very junior member of a prospecting group that amalgamated all their claims there. I will have to let my partners know. There is a little heart shaped lake about 2 miles NE of the dam at SW corner of the twp on the big lake. Inco has claims that they drilled in winter of 1965/66 near the heart. Heard assays up to 8% nickel but they never did anything (as far as I know) after bringing prop to lease. Usually the dykes are better for pgms than the main ore in the basin, but in 1966, pgms were not a big deal.
