I wasn't arguing against birth control. In fact I wasn't even arguing "we shouldn't fund birth control" (or that we should). I was explaining the distinction between it and ED. Recognizing that distinction, we still could, through the political process, decide that we are going to fund birth control, or even that we are going to have federal medical insurance and benefit programs fund it. I was only pointing out how there was a reason why they didn't, and it wasn't just silliness or discrimination against women.
