Yes, we do. The German verb, angeblaffen, is the past tense of anblaffen and is a very strong German verb. It literally means 'to snap at'. The way it was used in the sentence suggests that the Bush advisor spoke very sharply to the German representative.

Yup. Why should he have the same venue as the Spargel queen? Or the dairy farmers?
