I read or heard somewhere recently that the last year gold production was this low was 1937.

What are your sources?

According to mine, gold production from mines is not declining, but is relatively stable,

Central banks are the ones supplying any increase in demand.

Market is balanced.

koan: don't know what you are saying? nevada was correct, when they started heap leaching gold and silver production soared from hereotfore unprofitable gold bodies.

The reports I have read says gold production has slightly decreased in recent years.

Bob at Goldsheet has been following the market for decades and has accumulated all the stats.
