The largest part of the spending over the last 7 years is on programs that where started by Democrats, and the majority of that was on programs that automatically gets spent without new authorization, unless laws are changed in a way that has been politically impossible for anyone who has considered doing so.

Its a matter of record that Obama is planning on big new spending programs. I mentioned his Global Poverty Act earlier that is estimated to cost $800B + over a period of 13 years. See his health care plans as well.

Bush and the Republicans alone are responsible for $5 trillion in new debt in the last 7 years.

Uh, the last year and a half its been Democrats in charge of Congress. Have we seen spending cuts? No.
