The Tesla cost $109K, or over $60k more than the Lotus Elise that its based on.

Also its not 250 miles but 150 to 220 -

"Also, according to Tesla the car can run 220miles (350km) between recharging. However, tests done by edmunds.com editors have shown that the car can run 180miles (290km) in regular mixed (city/hyway) driving and only 150miles (240km) if you are having fun."

"Having fun", obviously is just somewhat spirited driving, not really wringing it out with maximum acceleration and high speed runs, or it would be much less (the range of gasoline powered cars would also go down by a lot)

Clueless is saying Bush vetoed a bill he signed.

Tell me how you're going to get a 747 off the ground with your alternative energy choices.

Btw, while you're here, how about the US sitting on the largest oil and coal reserves in the world? You seem to ignore that one. Or should I expect more childish name calling?
