What the rest of the board is on vacation? There are times when a special committee is the way to go - but on this the entire board should be looking at all options and doing some real THINKING.

You’re shooting from the hip.

The other four directors on DNA’s seven-member BoD are three top executives from Roche and Art Levinson. Obviously, these directors would not be unbiased with respect to Roche’s offer.

Could holding the value of the dollar high for two decades be part of the issue?

It was the high-value dollar that generated a huge trade deficit and handed all those dollars to the rest of the world. Now those dollars are coming home and buying our producing assets.
