Wheat indeed may be poison.

I wouldn't go that far. :>) Davis got onto wheat early as a way to lower LDL when dieting, plus he found that it resulted in more weight loss than any other method.

Speaking of poison, I had an annual CT body scan yesterday by Kaiser. Now that the horse has been stolen, they close the barn door every year. :>)

This was the standard "scan of many X-ray cuts," that started with me drinking a quart of barium for contrast and then getting an IV in my arm when I got there. I asked, "Is this to inject me with Iodine?" When they answered "yes," I said, "That's not very good for my kidneys, is it?" They admitted it wasn't, but said it was the only way to get the contrast they wanted.

Well, once a year. They did two CT views. I also got three chest X-rays. And a Liver blood workup. They posted my blood tests online two days prior, with the numbers and the ability to graph them against my prior blood tests, which was nice. Blood tests were all good. I will know on the rest next week.
