if mccain feels that he has adequated secured his right flank, he can reach out to a non-republican, now a registered independent. He and bloomy like each other and in many ways cut from the same cloth. Bloomy helps most where mac is weak with the economy. Bloomberg is not different than Bob Rubin or Paulson. Sure they may mess around the edges of taxes but for the most part bloomie is conservative on the economy, socially moderate and personally conservative. I think it makes sense for a guy who wont be able to win without taking a gamble or two. I believe that to be the case re: mccain right now. A bold move is called for. This is just one possiblity.
