Yeah, that's what Kerry said in 2004. Great guy, honest, intelligent, served his country admirably. Taken apart by the Republican lie machine, and his naive assumption that the truth would prevail. Whenever I lay out facts for these guys, they hide or make up some crap. Heck, the old fart prolife was still spouting his 'show me one lie told by the swiftboaters' a few months ago. When I pointed out the lie, with documentation, it didn't make a damn bit of difference to him. He just moved onto the next talking point. Cut and paste warriors, can't think for themselves. So, it's fire with fire for all McBush supporters - to a point. I won't make crap up; I supply links to all facts. But, other than that, it's time to play the Repubs game. Because, as we've seen in the past eight years, the stakes are just too darn high. I've got four kids, and I don't want them to have to inherit a Bush - or McBush - America.

Ok, great example of what I mean, just happened today. Obama has planned on meeting wounded troops in Germany for a while now. At the last minute (Wed), the Pentagon informs Obama that he won't be allowed to visit with any campaign staff, only with Senate staff and Secret Service. Problem is, the official Senate trip had ended by then - and Obama's Senate staff had been sent home. If they'd told Obama that even a few days before, it won't have been a problem By 'clever' timing, the Bush administration colluded with the Pentagon to prevent Obama from visiting troops. So, what does McBush's campaign do? Blasts Obama for not visiting the troops. Clever use of the Pentagon for campaign purposes. Illegal, or course, but difficult or impossible to prove. Just the kind of Bush strategy that we've become used to - quickly being adopted by the McBush people. See why the McBush moniker is so appropriate?
