Thanks.

I'm sure ted's pic is somewhere in ANWR, since it is 18 million acres but no where near the 2000 acre plot for production; a liberal nuance to hide behind.

Drilling in ANWR is on the northern edge of the coastal plain:
anwr.org

Prudhoe Bay, not much different and it is a 10x40 miles chunk just west of the ANWR exploration site.

Prudhoe Bay:

"Oil and gas development and wildlife are successfully coexisting in Alaska 's arctic. For example, the Central Arctic Caribou Herd (CACH) which migrates through Prudhoe Bay has grown from 3000 animals to its current level of 32,000 animals. The arctic oil fields have very healthy brown bear, fox and bird populations equal to their surrounding areas.

Btw, here's all of the pics of where they want to drill in ANWR. Remember, at worse, considering your concerns, we're going to be screwing up 2000 acres out of 18 MILLION.

Steve that's a great link. Quite a contrast with the photos tejek puts up on a routine basis.

What are you? Slow? I posted some of those same pics here:
