Liberals always offer rationale for hating and demonizing their opponents. Its been true for much longer than 15 years. They always claim that if it wasn't for evil conservatives, all our problems would be non-existent.

Liberals feel they always have to demonize their political opponents. Liberals always all their opponents "fascists". Its a kneejerk reaction, no thought behind it. I've been discussing this with my 27-year old daughter who is really kind of struggling to find her political footing. This was her observation, as well, and something that has really turned her off to the liberal POV. Liberals are constantly attacking in the most mean-spirited ways, while conservative attitude is far more civil. I think the liberals do themselves no favor with the hatred and personal attacks.
