It wouldn't have been a surrender, it would have been sanity. It would have been utterly stupid. I can't believe even YOU are saying it would have been sane to surrender two years ago. At that time, had we withdrawn our troops, Iran and AQ would have had their OWN surge. You would have thought $140 bbls of oil were cheap, and the money would be going directly into the pockets of Iran and AQ. Your remark is about as ignorant as any I've seen here and there have been some damned stupid posts on this thread by liberals.
