It's about fuc---g time we won, if the incompetent Bushies hadn't believed their own lies we would not either have gone into Iraq in the first place or gone in with overwhelming force like Powell wanted.

Instead we were embarrassed and humiliated by factions in a country with 8% of our population and less than 1% of our GNP. Gee we might win by default; I am impressed. We need to win there and, more importantly, in Afghanistan where the real terrorists reside, I am glad we are winning but we bankrupted our country in doing so and we still have a ways to go. I am proud of our troops and as of late the generals ; I am embarrassed by our executive leadership. What were they smoking? Did they not read about the British problems in iraq in the 20s and 30s.

What exactly did we win? The war lasted two weeks plus, at which point General Tommy Franks resigned & Mission Accomplished was hung from the rafters. Since then we've spent half a trillion & thousands of lives: net result? Iraq is divided in three, Big Oil has got us by the balls, and our own country is divided in two.
Stop with your stupid claims of victory.
