Simple. Either, in the end, ARU will be taken at a much higher price. Or, there is something really wrong with Ecuador and K is bidding low to limit the very high risks.

In either case, investors will have nothing to complain about, except maybe, the socialist move by Ecuador.

There would be only one case where they would have reasons to complain: K wins ARU and Ecuador goes smooth and allow mining to resume soom with no significant new taxes. But I don't think this will happen.

I lean towards K being taken over at much higher prices.
