I honestly don't see the latter as a likely outcome. It grieves me to say it but the facts clearly indicate that the majority of Americans are simply not smart enough to act in time. If they were then people would be demanding that Dodd be kicked out of the Senate. It would not surprise me if he were re-elected by the very people he is shafting. Americans really are THAT dumb.
