You show me a snapshot and claim it will last forever... I don't claim it will "last forever". Obviously, one never knows what may happen down the road. But right now, it is apparent that Sunnis and Shia are putting their differences aside to help bring about a better Iraq. Only a few months ago, you were gleefully telling us how it could never happen. Obama was talking about this "civil war". You were all gleefully telling us how al Sadr was in the catbird's seat and how he had consolidated his power when he surrendered. Well, the surge worked. And you and Obama can dodge the issue from now on, but it won't change the facts.
