If so, I'm working with a misconception. My read is that the royalties from April '07 to now are being packaged within the amortized amount. Is that wrong?

Or do you mean that since the company receives the cash to put it "to use" now, all's well. That's exactly what I was talking about... I want to see it in the share price, not work it into some philosophical perspective. Earnings, or positive analysis for the market, or in my account within a few quarters... Not all of us want to hold all of it forever.
