MTL is down $7 today.....this stock has dropped from $58 to $19 over the past month due to mostly Putin worries. Meanwhile, Putin continues his assault on the company. I am very worried about what's happening in Russia. It controls too much of the world's oil.

Most inflation this year has come from food and fuel, as retailers resisted passing along to strapped consumers the higher prices manufacturers charged them, but coming increases from companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Hasbro Inc. may leave them with no choice.

This is already changing.......ethanol from corn is on its way out.......meaning that AG stocks no longer can get any traction and oil is coming down. However, I think the real problem with Home Depot is that people are afraid and are unwilling to spend. I was going to replace my garage door this summer.......right now that project is on indefinite hold. Until I understand what's happening with the economy I will do nada......I suspect that's a common refrain.
