More Brinker stupid logic re: online banks vs. brick-and-mortar banks. He says that if you are with an online bank, the only thing you can do in case it fails, is to send emails, make phone calls etc. With a brick-and-mortar bank, it is supposedly different.

Huh? In what way is it different? With a brick-and-mortar bank, you have the "option" of standing for days outside a building along with hundreds of others, and if you are "lucky", you could have a sunstroke! Is that it?! ;-)

InvesTing speculated:

<<So my guess is that Bob is busy lashing out, like trying to get those QQQ bulletins out of libraries after the embarassing advice; he really wanted to shut up discussions of his flip flop from wild bull to "I told you the market might go down". :)>>

--Well, if that's true, then this board is about to go into the past tense.

If Brinker really threatened facebook with legal action, and that scared facebook into eliminating kirk's board...well, you don't think SI would bravely defend our right to free speech and stand up to him, do you?
