As a young hippie in Texas, I learned that if you fight the rednecks and defend yourself, they'll respect you, even if they don't agree with you. Especially if you kick their ass. Get strapped. I'd bet conservatives are much more likely to be gun owners. You're wrong on the rest though. If they were angry, hateful and violent, the kind of thing you're talking about would happen daily. Liberals on the other hand are frequently angry and hateful. Just read your own posts or those of others here. In fact, just read the title of the link you posted. I opened it up and there was the typical liberal discourse filled with hatred and obscentities. Most of you aren't that violent though, I'll grant you that. Conservatives tend to be better informed than liberals. Just look at how often we've corrected you guys on things here ... from LNG, to heavy oil, to historical subjects.
