In all honesty, and with no disrespect intended, I don't give a rat's a$$ if people believe me or not. I drive a 17 year old beat up clunker, which clearly indicates that my self worth does not depend on what others think of me. I did my research, structured my finances for the tax laws, and reap the benefits year after year.

I also was not "bragging" about my tax situation. Zeus made a clearly wrong statement about taxes, in an arrogant manner, and I corrected him. My tax situation is nothing special. Lots of people are using the same techniques I am, techniques that have been confirmed by the IRS and/or upheld by the tax courts.

Everyone's tax situation is different. You can do your own homework, set up your finances, and save, or you can pay year after year. It really doesn't matter to me.

I am done on this subject. Although it is probably not the case, it feels like people are trying to get free advice because they are too lazy to do their own research.
