Yup, and technically, the market looks like toast with a test of support turned resistance and then back down....so it could get bugly.... or not.

And this sector hit bottom in OCT of 1998 and OCT of 2002.
Why not a 4th time?
Institutional tax selling in SEP/OCT on some of these small caps can create a temporary supply/demand imbalance that creates V-bottoms. Will history repeat? There's no assurance, but I for one will be keeping some purchasing power available for that possibility.
