I have never met a politician that wants less power. Politicians are egomaniacs that want more and therefore will always enlarge their authority...and as we have seen clearly, each party loves to spend too much money. We now have two parties which are huge spenders. We used to have one party which was for big government and one party which was for less government and they balanced each other...now we are out of control and people will regret the outcome in the future when they work even harder for less, and people will have less motivation to work harder.
