Having said that, there is a painful readjustment ongoing in the housing industry in this country. I think you start anticipating a bottom in about 12-18 months... but I don't expect a big pop, just a slow recovery. I agree it will be a slow recovery esp. in the markets most hurt by the subprime mess but I think it starts sooner than 12 months if the economy holds up. Have you seen what X is doing after its earnings report this AM: clearstation.etrade.com Things continue to be not as bad as the bears would have us think.
