Have you noticed that the price of crude is down $3 today coincidentally after a report came out last nite showing that gas consumption has declined yet again YoY in May. Why won't Bush recommend conservation?

A serious plan to replace the fleet with efficient vehicles and we would see <$100.

Yup. However, not one person in the Bush WH is talking that approach. And we're supposed to believe he's not the oil president.

Alaska's Sen. Ted Stevens indicted by federal grand jury

By Erika Bolstad | McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON — Sen. Ted Stevens, the longest-serving Republican in the U.S. Senate and one of the chamber's most powerful members, was indicted Tuesday in Washington, a result of a year-long investigation into corruption in Alaska politics.

The indictment comes nearly one year after federal agents raided Stevens' home in Girdwood, a resort town about 40 miles south of Anchorage.

This story is developing and will be updated shortly.

Its looking like oil stocks may be done crashing. Crude is down big today and yet oil stocks seem to be holding the fort. Oil earnings are just around the corner and I've got to believe many of them will hit grand slams.

Absolutely. Just look at what we've gotten from Bush dropping the ban on OCS drilling (even though the Dems in Congress are stonewalling it).
