That uncertainty is exactly what has created an extraordinary buying opportunity for BAC. The rating agencies (ie. S&P)and the financial analysts have been dead wrong on this stock for several months. They have stated BAC would have to raise capital and/or cut the dividend - wrong on both counts. The Countrywide acquisition was speculated to reduce BAC 2008 earnings. Wrong again, according to CEO Ken Lewis, CFC will be accretive to BAC earnings, this year.

The BAC dividend is IMHO more secure than any other comparable that I know of.

Ax of this moment, BAC is $30.15 up $2.09 today, so far!
